Why did you join?
Sweaty Betty stood out amongst all other retailers. Its fabrics and its ethos really appealed to me.
What is your favourite thing about SB?
The people!
How has Team SB helped your career in retail?
You get as much out of SB as you put in, it’s what you make it. Though, I wouldn’t be where I am without the wonderful support of the people here.
Meet Fleur, Our Senior Brand Marketing Manager

I joined Sweaty Betty in 2013 as I was looking for a new challenge and had always been really intrigued by the brand – we were much smaller then and I had my interview with Tamara. I found her really inspiring and engaging and her plans for the business so interesting. In 2014 I was headhunted and took a role in a much larger company but really missed Sweaty Betty. I stayed in touch with the team here and when an opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance to return to Team SB.
What is your favourite thing about SB?
We are such a unique business as we have a very honest and open culture and transparency is key – all the teams know targets and sales and we are really in tune with each other across departments. Simon and Tamara are so approachable and inclusive, meaning we feel like one big family working towards a common goal. I think that this makes people feel really passionate about the brand.
How has Team SB helped your career in marketing?
I am constantly learning at Sweaty Betty – because we are still a small business and continuing to grow. It’s great to witness how we remain agile and change tactics and strategy to suit climates or events. I think the culture at SB has made me much more reactive and constantly moving. Previous brands I have worked for have sat still whilst the landscape changes around us, whereas at SB we want to be at the forefront of the changes before they happen.
