Meet the models

For our London-inspired collection we couldn’t not cast girls from our home town to showcase our new pieces. To reflect the cities effortless style we assembled a squad of three cool girls and followed them from studio to street - step in Felicity Peel, Leomie Anderson and Terri Lee Blake. We caught up with them to talk chocolate, workouts and travel on set in Notting Hill.

Felicity Peel - @felicity_peel

A Manchester University graduate from Shropshire, when she’s not modelling Felicity also loves yoga, music and writing. She regularly contributes to the website @unwritten.

I went to Glastonbury straight after graduation and got scouted there.

Where do you live in the world?

I live in Herne Hill in Brixton, but I really want to move to Berlin.

Mix it up, do a combination of different things. Do a bit of strength, a bit of stretching and a bit of cardio because it makes it more interesting.

The workout that works for me is?

I’m obsessed with Mai Thai.

Where do you like to work out?

Mainly in Gym Box but if its sunny and nice out she will go for a run in the park.

I love this amazing cream called Biaffine from France, it’s a miracle moisturising everything.

Favourite snack?

Dark chocolate, every time.

Secret London haunt?

I love a pub in Denmark hill called The Fox. It’s on a hill with this amazing view of the whole of London.

Guilty pleasure?

Gilmore Girls

Leomie Anderson - @leomieanderson

Outspoken, hilarious and drop-dead gorgeous, this girl of many talents also has her own clothing range LAPP. The face of Fenty Beauty and TEDx talk star, she has made headlines for her strong words and is never afraid to call things out.

Where are you from?

South London

How did you get into modelling?

People used to come up to me and tell me I should do modelling but I just thought it was one of those stereotypical things – you're tall, you're skinny so you should be a model. The time I got scouted by Premier was the first time I thought that I could pursue it for a career.

Where do you live in the world?

Between London and New York, though London has my heart.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Walking for Victoria’s Secret.

My number one fitness tip?

Do something that makes you happy, I realised recently I prefer to workout at home so now I do this rather than going to a studio.

Your best budget beauty buy is?

I love Soap and Glory’s double excel plumping lip gloss.

Secret London haunt?

Satay Bar in Brixton for great food, great drinks and a great vibe.

Your travel essential?

A pair of headphones and Netflix, I’m obsessed with Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Can you tell us more about LAPP?

I always wanted to do a clothing line but I didn’t just want to put out a clothing line and it be like typical, ‘oh a model starts a clothing line’, kind of thing. I wanted to do something that brought people together and gave people a voice. We have a blog alongside it that I really put a lot of hard work into. In our generation no-one’s going to care if I just tweeted out a link about my blog, so I thought let me incorporate the fashion with the blog and fuse it together.

What inspired you to do your TEDx Talk in Peckham Behind The Lens Of The Modelling Industry?

Honestly, I love public speaking, being able to interact with people and just being able to talk! So it was kind of like I wanted the opportunity to convey my perspective of the modelling industry to a big group of people, especially live – that was the part that was going to be really interesting and different.

Terri-Lee Blake - @terrileeblake

Dancer, Londoner and fan of Yorkie man-size buttons, Terri grew up in Spain and speaks fluent Spanish. When she’s not modelling, Terri is the co-founder of dance agency Mia Dulcinea.

Describe yourself in three words?

Organised but unorganised, a beautiful mess, lively (I appreciate these are more than three words).

Where are you from?

I was born in London, but my family have lived in Spain for 22 years. I plan to spend this summer in Barcelona before coming back to London for winter.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Shooting with Mario Testino last year.

My number one fitness tip?

It’s not all about the exercise, you need to make sure you’re eating the right food and drinking lots of water.

What’s your favourite place in London?

I love Alexandra Palace, my Nan used to take me there when I was a child. When I first moved back to London, I was living in Muswell Hill and realised it was right next to the palace which brought back so many memories.

Your travel essential?

A good book.
