Describe yourself in three words?

Passionate, unconventional, happy.

3 tips for staying balanced?

  • Create your own well-being toolkit.
  • See time for yourself as a necessity not a luxury.
  • Give a bit less of a shit.

What inspired you to start Neom?

I suffered from anxiety and started creating 100% natural blends of essential oils to help. They worked so I tried different blends on my sister and husband. When he then left the house with 32 bottles of the energy blend for his football team, I thought we may be on to something!

Do you have any tips for other starting a business?

Hire the best people you can afford as soon as you can.

What’s been your biggest wow moment to date?

My kids being born.

What does a typical day look like to you?

There is really no typical day for me. I live in Harrogate so there’s lots of meetings, always a bit of brainstorming and many trains back and forth to London.

When do you feel best in yourself?

When I make time to pause and reflect, however having my roots done and relaxing in a bath, always helps.

What does female empowerment mean to you?

Embracing our differences and not being a slave to how someone else thinks you should behave. It’s important to be happy and comfortable with your personal vibe.

What would you say to your younger self?

Keep on keeping on - you’ll get there, enjoy the journey!

Top tip for someone starting their own business?

See if you get traction whilst working your day job first. Find a partner with different skills to you and prepare for it to take longer than you think. Plus, always have fun!

Favourite workout?

Running on my own with a good podcast or playlist.

Life mantra?

I’ve got two, learn to be calm and you’ll always be happy and head down, bum up (my way of saying just get on with it!)

Guilty pleasure?

A big bowl of pasta.

Green juice or cocktails?

Monday to Friday, I’m a green juice woman but as soon as Friday evening hits, champagne.
