What methods of payment do you accept?

Online we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta/Connect or Maestro and PayPal. We do not accept cheques or cash.

What is Verfied by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode?

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode are services that protect your card details with a personal password, designed especially for customers who shop online for extra security. They allow you to create your own password, which only you know, to use every time you shop online using these cards.

You need to register your card with a password. You only need to do this once, then whenever you use the card to shop online you will be asked to enter the password when you check out.

You can do this as part of the check out process. When you confirm your order you may be asked by your bank if you wish to register your card. If you click yes, you will be directed to the bank’s website in order to do so. Alternatively you can contact the issuer of your card directly to register the card.

Why is it that there are things on the website that are out of stock?

We do try to keep the website up to date, however sometimes items sell out really quickly. We understand this can be frustrating, so when this happens we will try our best to offer you another choice or let you know if it's coming back in stock.

What is a pre-order?

Items on pre-order are usually new products that we want to give you the chance to get your hands on before they come in stock. You won't be able to receive these immediately, but we will give you a clear estimate of how long you have to wait.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes. Sweaty Betty gift cards are redeemable online or in store.

How do I redeem gift cards when making an online purchase?

Gift cards can be redeemed online as a method of payment at the checkout. You will need to enter the gift card number when prompted during the checkout. Please note no change will be given when using a gift card for an amount exceeding the order value. All gift cards expire 12 months from issue.

What can I do if something is wrong with my order?

Which currency will my order be calculated in if I am shipping to Canada?

Please note that if you order from Canada, your order total will be calculated in US dollars not Canadian dollars.


How much is postage?

Standard shipping and handling charges are free. Express shipping is $30.

How long will I have to wait to receive my order?

Please allow 3-6 business days for standard shipping and 1-3 business days for express shipping. Please note, during our sale period, shipping times can increase due to a larger volume of orders.

How long will I have to wait to collect my click and collect order?

We aim to have your items ready for you to collect within 1-3 business days from your chosen shop and will keep you updated on the progress of your order by email, informing you of the date and time your items will be ready. Orders that are not collected within 2 weeks will be returned to the Sweaty Betty warehouse and will be refunded.

My order will be a gift, can I have a gift receipt?

Yes, simply add a free of charge gift message or gift wrapping to your order during checkout and it will be sent with a gift receipt.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. All orders are sent to the USA via UPS, so please ensure to provide a valid street address for shipping.


Do you offer free returns?

We understand that when purchasing online, you may occasionally want to return items that are not suitable. For this reason, we are pleased to offer a free US returns service. Read more about our returns policy here.

How do I return something if I need to?

You will receive a receipt/invoice in your parcel. Please complete the returns section of this form using the returns codes. If the items you wish to return have been delivered in separate parcels please return them to us in one parcel with the corresponding return sections. By doing this we will be able to process your refund faster.

Detach the returns section of this form and enclose it with the goods to be returned.

Use the enclosed self-adhesive SmartLabel returns postage label and stick to the outside of your parcel. All Sweaty Betty mailing bags are reusable - simply use the spare adhesive strip.

Drop off your return package at your closest a US Postal Service mailbox or post office.

Using Sweaty Betty's pre-paid SmartLabel, returns are free of charge.

We will process your refund upon receipt of your package.

Can I exchange an item?

We are very happy to offer free shipping and apply original discounts to replacement orders. See full details on replacement orders.

How will I know you have refunded me?

Once our warehouse has received your returned items we will credit the card used to pay for the order and send you a confirmation email. Please allow at least 2-3 working days for the refund to appear in your account. Please note that depending on your bank this may take up to 10 days.

I’ve received a gift, can I return it?

No refunds will be given on gifts unless refunded on to the purchaser’s card directly. You can exchange a gift by visiting one of our shops or contacting Customer Care.

Do you have a size guide?

What length are the short, regular and long legs?

Short length is approximately 29.5” (75cm), regular length is approximately 31.5” (80cm) and long length is approximately 33.5” (85cm). See our size guide for further advice. Please note that these are approximate lengths only, there are slight variations.

Do you cater for all bust sizes and would I need to wear a bra if a top has built in support?

We offer support for every single sport in cup sizes from A - F cup. Our tops only offer light support, so we would only recommend them for low impact activities if you are under a C cup otherwise you could cause irreversible damage to your boobs. Find out more here.

I am pregnant, do you sell maternity wear?

We don't have a specific maternity range, but a lot of mums-to-be wear Sweaty Betty because our fabrics are so stretchy. They are particular fans of our jumpsuits and yoga pants.

Are all sizes shown on the website also available in stores?

While we would love for our shops to be able to carry all sizes, this is not always possible, though we can order you a size in if needed.

Do you have washing guidelines?

All of our clothes have washing guidelines. Though one tip! Don't wash our technical fabrics with fabric conditioner as it clogs up the pores and stops the fabric from ‘wicking’ the sweat away from your skin. For more information, please head to the specific product page.

Where are Sweaty Betty clothes made?

We source manufacturers and suppliers from all around the world. Please see our fabric guide for more information on our fabrics. We take care to ensure that they not only comply with the Sweaty Betty brand guidelines, but also International laws regarding working conditions. All of our Sweaty Betty clothes are designed by our own London based design team.

What fabrics does Sweaty Betty use?

It's safe to say we are fabric obsessed, to the extent if we can't find it, we make it. Technical, performance enhancing, sweat-wicking, 100% opaque, we have them all and more. Find out more here.


Why do you want my email address?

Primarily so that we can contact you if there is a problem with your order. We will also contact you to let you know our latest news or special offers, however if you do not wish to hear from us you can easily unsubscribe. The quickest way to do this is to unsubscribe is to go to the bottom of your latest Sweaty Betty e-mail, click unsubscribe and you will be taken off our e-mail list.

Discounts & Promotions

How do I use an offer/discount code?

To use a valid promotional/discount code you can either enter it into the promotional code box on the “my bag” or "checkout" page and click on apply. If you have a catalogue you will find your promotional/discount code on the back cover.

Do you give discounts to people who work in the fitness industry?

Yes! We offer a 30% discount for fitness professionals only with a qualified teaching certificate. To shop online please send proof of your position or qualification to, then as soon as we have received the appropriate information we will activate your account, the discount will be automatically applied to your basket when you have logged in.

To claim your discount in one of our shops, please take proof of your position and qualification with you and the shop manager will activate your 30% discount.

What happens if I forget to enter my discount code?

Unfortunately once you have placed and confirmed your order we are unable to honor your discount code. This must be entered in while at the check-out before you enter in your payment details.

Why doesn’t my offer code work?

First, check if you are on our USA or UK website. It is most likely that your offer code is not working because it has either expired or it is not a valid discount code. We suggest you check the dates on your catalogue as well as check you have entered in your discount code correctly. Many of our offer codes are also for one use only and will not be valid for a second use.

Can I use 2 offer codes at once?

Unfortunately only one offer is valid at a time.
