Excellent for sub freezing outdoor runs!
I’ve been an avid outdoor runner for years and have tried so many different thermal options. I’ve never quite found the right balance to both keep me warm but not end up overheating once I get moving. I had been on the fence about trying this but finally ordered it and put it to the test today. I am shocked because most options with a fleece lining end up being too much warmth for me - it was the perfect balance! I ran for about an hour in just below freezing temperatures. I wore just this top, which kept me warm while starting up and didn’t trap in heat once I got going. Very breathable! If only there were more colors!

Too fitted
I'm a size 16 so brought the XL top, unfortunately I had to return it as it fitted too tight and looked weird, like a wetsuit, which is a shame as I absolutely love the the Thermodynamic leggings. It was also quite short so didn't hide my problem areas and the zip was too high up on the neck. I will be getting the Escape Fleece hoody instead as that is baggier and longer.

Saved me from cold runs!
This top is gorgeous. The material on the inside is super cosy...perfect to throw on with a vest top for a run as the fleece is temperature regulating. The thumb holes are great for the start of a run and you can roll them up for a chic look that doesn't look awful!
I'd love if the bottom half of the top was slightly more fitted as it can ride up but I'm being super picky. All in all a beautiful top that washes so so well!

VELVET TRIM! Warm, lovely fit AND it comes in XXL!
I bought this top online after seeing it in store in late autumn 2020 as I was looking for a half zip top with a nice shape. And it's proven to be an excellent buy - both for fit/shape and for warmth for outdoor exercise. I bought the matching leggings soon after I got this top & as an outfit the 2 items have been perfect for runs & outdoor HIIT workouts since late Nov. (writing this review in late January). I have washed & line dried the top several times since I bought it & it is still as good as day one.
I am a UK size 18 and wear XXL which is just perfect across my bust & does not pull across my stomach. The top has a flattering shape. Lengthwise, I like it as it also ends towards the end of my butt (I am 5'4") so I feel well covered.
When it's been between 1-5 degrees celsius I can run/workout in the top & leggings with a vest top underneath and not feel cold, or too hot. A few recent runs where the chilll factor dropped the temperature to several degrees below zero, I put a long sleeve top on underneath as well and was perfectly warm.
The pockets at each side are really useful & are very neat. The fabric is lovely with a nice sheen on the outside & a cosy thermal lining. Having read other reviews about the fabric catching I have been very careful not to catch the fabric with velcro etc. On the few times I have done so (e.g. when putting my phone holder onto my arm) I can then see that the fabric does catch and has like a fuzz where the fabric's been caught. (I have considered using a de-fuzzer but haven't bothered yet). However none of this has become so obvious - I can't see it unless I am looking really hard.
I can report that the fabric's coped well with me holding kettlebells against myself at chest height for weighted lunges or goblet squats.
I love the velvet trim on the arms - it really makes a black top feel a bit special & I love that the leggings have a matching trim.

Thermodynamic Half Zip Running Top is amazing!
I have leggings from the same material and love them very much so I decided to get the top as well. It is very warm and soft. I wear it for a cold day running and winter hiking in the ice or snow condition. It is nice to be warm and I do not need to worry about get cold instead I can focus on my activities.

Great jacket, but quality concerns
I love the fit and feel of this jacket. The thumb holes are cozy too. It’s more of a fall/spring jacket for my climate.
My issue is the quality - I have only washed it twice, on cold, and I haven’t put it in the dryer at all. The seams are absolutely shredding and falling apart already! I’m sad that such an expensive jacket is already having these issues.
