Rated 1 out of 5 by ClaireISki from not up to the job! I have never written a review but feel that I must share my disappointment with this jacket. Whilst this jacket might look really great its simply not up to the job. We are currently in the Alps skiing in cold, windy conditions and I am freezing in this jacket. The arms are really too short and not lined, the fabric is stiff and restrictive but mostly it just doesn't keep the wind out so I am cold. I have the matching sallopettes which are really great and I would recommend but I am hugely disappointed with this jacket particularly as it wasn't cheap! The pockets are also pretty much useless as they are so small to fit anything in other than a ski pass. Really disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ferny from Perfect classy ski jacket I wore this for a week in the Alps and it is the best jacket I’ve owned or worn. It has a great sleek fit with lots of features that many other high end ski jackets don’t have. The large hood which fastens over your helmet is particularly good when the wind is biting or during snow. Also the neck fastens with or without the hood to seal the jacket. I bought this with the soft shell salopettes and padded neck warmer - gulped at the price but they were worth every penny! Slight stretch means it’s comfortable and the longer line is warmer than many ladies’ jackets. Only slight comment is the hood came unzipped during a quick run and I had to keep checking it as the zip didn’t lock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Infinity from Lovely Jacket Warm, comfortable and looks great. -1 when I walked the dog this morning. If I don’t want to loose this jacket to my daughter I’m going to have to buy her one too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Berkshirebird from Lovely jacket Jacket looks amazing done up, the fur is uber glam. I do think its a bit smaller than usual SB clothing, Pockets are maybe a bit small and I did read all the reviews before asking Father Christmas for this and the matching trousers. Not disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sailingcat from Wonderful jacket! Absolutely love this jacket. It’s stylish, warm with a nice hood. The articulated elbow cuffs are very practical. It’s a bit snug but you can wear an extra layer. I’m a size 12 and bought a medium and it’s a perfect fit. At the moment I use it mostly for casual wear. It’s really waterproof, I tested it under heavy rain...

Rated 2 out of 5 by Curlygold from Unfortunate design My purchase was driven by the look of this jacket and the fact that it’s waterproof and meant to be insulated. However the arms are not padded and only lined with thin fleece which means that while my body is warm, my arms are cold and it’s not even really cold yet. Also the hand pockets are too small and unless zipped straight away, whatever is in them is sure to fall out. The zips on these on these pockets are also sharp so catch my knuckles every time I use them. I normally love the quality and wearability of Sweaty Betty but am very disappointed with purchase. Unfortunately I didn’t notice these design errors until I wore the jacket.
