Disappointing quality for the price!
I was excited to purchase this hoody in a gorgeous purple colour after having my eye on it for a while. After washing this top on a recommended 30 degree wash it has not only shrunk, but faded too. As I can’t find my receipt customer services refuse to offer a solution. I have purchased many items from Sweaty Betty in the past, but given the recent quality and customer service, will now be shopping else where.

Disappointed
I was disappointed with this purchase. For the money I spent, I expected, at least, a well made garment. This is not what I got. The pockets are haphazardly sewn into the hoody and are honestly superfluous. The material is soft, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. I will definitely be sticking to only leggings from Sweaty Betty from now on.

Overpriced and unsustainable
This hoody was bought on impulse yesterday after I tried it on and decided to treat myself for my birthday. It is certainly a lovely fit and I love anything with thumb loops!
When I got it home however, and thought about it a little more, I was annoyed at myself for having paid such a ridiculous price for a piece of clothing that appears to have no special characteristics. In addition, it contains 45% acrylic, so in my opinion, its sustainable credentials need to be called into question. Using recycled cotton is great, but releasing microplastics with each wash is not ideal.
I will be returning this and purchasing something that is made of natural fibres and priced more sensibly. No thumb loops, but I’m sure I’ll get over it!

Poor Quality, great style.
Loved the style and fit, unfortunately 5/6 months after purchase the colour has faded so badly, making the jumper look cheap and old. Not at all what I expected after spending £120!!! I can only imagine top ratings have been made immediately after purchase. (See photos attached)

Wear all the time!
I now have two of these and wear them constantly as they’re so soft and comfortable yet light enough for running and warm enough for hiking during the winter. I’m size 12/14 and normally buy L but only M was available which fits fine; the Aster Purple is looser than the Grey Marl. The thumbhole cuffs cover my hands and feel really comfortable so there’s no need for gloves during a cold run and the hood is sufficient for running in light rain or cold wind. The pockets don’t have zips but that’s not a problem if you’re wearing SB leggings!

Escape hoodie
Arrived in a ball of creases. Label says do not Iron. Reviews say it deteriorates after a wash. So I can’t iron and I’m afraid to wash creases out hmmmm. I am now afraid to wear my €150 hoodie. It’s just sitting in my wardrobe while I’m willing them creases to fall out

Bring back the original version
Whilst this is still a very nice, wearable hoodie, I definitely preferred the original style without pockets. They make the garment less flattering and tend to sag after a short while.Also, the material on the cuffs is different to the previous style, and it does not retain its shape very well. All in all, I'd love if SB were to bring back the original version of this hoodie !

Feels great but the pockets drive me mad!
Great hoody, feels lovely on. However the pockets aren’t connected to the top enough so they ‘dangle’ beneath the top even when empty. Put a phone in and you can almost see the whole thing hanging down. I love a pocket so this is really disappointing otherwise I’d love this hoody.

So Soft, warm and snuggly
When it's clean - it's on. So warm and snuggly, really comfy for day to day wear. The hood is a lovely extra as it keeps the back of my neck warm when down as well. Bought one for my sister in law as well I loved it so much.

Well designed and warm - pockets can sag though .
I love this hoody! It’s soft, warm and flattering and the thumb holes in the sleeves are perfect for when it’s cold and it covers my bum. The hood is also really well designed - doesn’t blow off and can cover the lower part of my face when it’s extra cold. Only reason for the 4 stars is the pockets, which can ‘sag’ and peep out underneath.

Thank you for your question. We would say that a US 12 is an XL throughout the items. I got true to size in all items and the fit is great. I only tend to size up if I want things to be a intentional baggy fit.

We consider the Escape Luxe Fleece Hoody to be very true to size. However, if you are between a 10 and a 12 and don't like your clothing too tight, we would recommend going for a size M.

Hi There, Thank you for your question. This is meant to be a longer fit, I am similar height and wear an XS and comes just to the upper thigh but does cover your bum. This is great for winter. But I do love the cropped versions which comes to the top of my leggings. The Harmonise top is also a nice option for a shorter length, also.
