Stylish jacket
I bought this jacket for my return to the uk and couldn’t wait so had it shipped to Australia. And although it’s too hot to wear here I try it on a lot and I love it. Really flattering fit and the adjustable waist is a great feature. The fabric feels of high quality and do the fastenings and zips.

Beautiful parka
I’d been looking at this parka for a while as I love the style and look. I used my 50% birthday discount and I love it. There’s one thing I’d change and that’s put pockets on the inside. I also find it tricky to do up the zip as the jacket is so long to reach down and it gets bent as I try to pull it up. I’m size 10 and I bought a size S which is perfect.

This really keeps the rain out!
I bought this because I don't like the weather to dictate whether I get out for my walk or not and it does not disappoint. The length means the rain stays off my bum and the material is fully waterproof - it has been tested by some really wickedly wet walks in Ireland. I layer it for warmth when needed. Once I put it on, I felt I never want to be without it. The size is generous. I bought a size small and there is plenty of room to wear a few layers underneath.

Lovely coat but hood is a disaster
This coat is a fabulous shape, and fit. The fabric is great and the drawstring waist makes it very flattering.
HOWEVER when it rains the hood covers virtually all my face. It needs a drawstring on the hood to pull it up at the back. Even though there is a drawstring around the face, all it does it pulls it in and covers your eyes. What an absolute shame I am unable to wear this in the rain.

Bought the parka with my birthday voucher which made it such a good price. The fit and look are fab - can be worn over layers or just a Tshirt. Love that the middle can be pulled in to give you more shape. Haven’t worn it in wet weather yet, so can’t comment how waterproof it is. But windproof and the pockets are so cosy.

Fantastic oversized parka
I bought this coat with my 50% off birthday voucher and I’m so glad I did. It is oversized so perfect when it is raining to give you good cover. You can pull in the waist to give some definition and the pockets are a good size.

Not waterproof
I wore this in average rain today and rain has gone right through it on the shoulders and my clothes are wet underneath.
At £200 I would expect better than this. It is splash proof, definitely not waterproof. Also the zip sticks constantly and it is very difficult to zip and unzip. Waste of money.

Keeping me dry
Great coat, nice relaxed fit so it easily fits over jumpers and layers. Love the pop pockets and the concealed inner zip - really great design. Would get 5* but zip can get stuck and can be tricky to use at times.

Believe the hype!
Absolutely love my new jacket! I was skeptical of the amount of 5-star reviews, thinking no way this jacket could be that great... it really is! So flattering and it has a gorgeous finish. I'm a pear shape, usually wearing a 8 US on bottom and a 6 US on top. I bought this in a small and it fits perfectly. The way the jacket looks on the model, I'd say that is if you bought true-to-size, as it is meant to be oversized for sure. Size down for the most flattering look!

Smart and waterproof
Sweaty Betty kindly offered me 50% off an item as it was my birthday and as it has been so rainy I decided to go for this coat. It does come up big (I'm 5'3" and size 12 - it took ages to decide between M and S!) but I stuck with a M as I like the option of wearing layers underneath. Love this jacket - smart and waterproof, what I was looking for! So far, it's kept me dry through several downpours and I like the roomy pockets. I would have given it five stars but it's not the perfect fit for me (but I still love it!).

Waterproof parka
I bought this parka and collected from my local store. Very pleased with it and have worn it a couple of times. It’s very comfortable and really useful in recent wet weather. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. All in all a great experience from sweaty Betty.

Great coat for all weathers
Really happy with this coat, walking a lot I’m always getting caught in the rain and this does just the job. It’s roomy enough to layer up underneath. So great I’m going to order the khaki one too! I’m 10-12 and the small fits perfectly.

Great raincoat, lightweight and practical. I bought to wear for both other work suits and workout gear and it is great. Slightly oversized which is how I wanted it so the pathfinders jacket can fit underneath for extra warmth

Fab jacket
Really pleased with this coat. It’s definitely on the generous side so if you like something more fitted I’d size down but it great to wear jumpers under.
Lovely big pockets, would have like an inside one though. Definitely waterproof, been caught in some heavy rain and it kept me dry. Also a really good length and a nice roomy hood you can adjust to fit for when it’s wet and windy.

Great coat but not for me!
This is a lovely warm coat but I have been searching for a raincoat for some time and want something I can wear all year round. For me this is too thick so wasn’t what I was looking for. However, it is a well made coat if that is the style you are after.

Fantastic waterproof coat
Love love love this coat. Has been amazing at keeping me dry this week with the heavy rainfall and the large hood. Love the oversize look and the bonus is it it means I don’t have to worry if I’m wearing a chunky knit underneath or a jumper with wide sleeves, as the coat fits over with ease. Love that deep sized pockets, great for dog walking. Coat looks great too for days in the office or heading to town. Wished I bought this last year.

Stride waterproof jacket
Overall I like this jacket, but the finish let’s it down… for the price point it should be far superior. For example, the inside of the pockets has the raw seam on the inside, and I note this poor finish every time I put my hands in the pocket.. this smacks of cheap design and is a real shame. There is a seam that doesn’t line up too. Haven’t tested the jacket in the rain so can’t say whether it is indeed waterproof or not. Would have been nice to have a pocket on the inside of the coat,

Lovely coat but Sizes are way too big
I bought this in the sale and ordered a Small (my normal sweaty Betty size) but it was HUGE. I needed a XXS. I am a size 8/10, 5ft3. I then missed the sale price so now don’t have the coat so can’t review in terms of anything else! I’ll keep looking out for this in the sale in XXS.

We would recommend going for a size XXS in the Stride Waterproof Parka if you wear a UK6. The coat is dipped at the back, but is a very versatile length for different heights.

Thank you for the question a US Size 6, is a Small in our items. It is a oversize fit to be able to layer underneath. I went true to size but if you want it more fitted I would recommend to size down.
