Empowering Women Through Fitness

Sweaty Betty is Britain's Most Active Company

Practising what we preach is central to the work ethic here at Sweaty Betty, so it was with great pleasure we accepted an award this month for ‘Most Active’ as part of Britain’s Healthiest Company, a collaborative effort between The Sunday Telegraph, Pruhealth and Mercer.
For us, healthy + fit = happy. We encourage everyone in our community -  employees, customers and partners alike – to lead an active lifestyle.  Not only do we take part in as many sporting activities as possible – including Dragon Boat Racing, 5ks and 10ks, half and full marathons and new classes like HiiT and Rave, we host fitness classes at our Support Office every week.

Rather than spending all day, every day hunched over our desks, we have a Monday Run Club, Wednesday lunchtime Vinyasa class and Friday Pilates session to rejuvenate our minds and bodies for the rest of the workday. Most of us cycle, walk or jog to work, and there are on-going competitive email chains whenever someone signs up for a race or event.
With 5 yoga teachers, 15 cyclist commuters,  1 triathelete-in-training and dozens of road runners, our Head Office team runs an average of 800 miles collectively per week. Pretty impressive!

Of course we wear Sweaty Betty – see below for some of our favourite workout wardrobe must-haves for work and for play.

Well done Sweaty Betty! So much activity must increase your turnover as well as keeping you all happy and fit. Your sports and dance wear is the best - top design and fabrics. Keep it up! x
