returns & replacements
We understand that you may occasionally want to return items that are not suitable and are very happy to help you choose a replacement item or offer a full refund.
We are happy to offer a refund on any full price items returned to us in perfect condition, within 30 days of receipt of order, with proof of purchase.
Sale items may be refunded within 7 days of receipt of order if they are sent back in perfect condition with proof of purchase. After 7 days of receipt of order, sale items can only be returned in exchange for a credit note if they are sent back in perfect condition, within 14 days of receipt of order with proof of purchase.
Faulty items may be returned at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights. Refunds will be credited to the original card that was used for purchase. If you decide to refund a gift we can't prevent the card-owner knowing.
All items purchased as gifts before December 18 may be returned up until January 19 2014. From December 19, our normal returns policy applies. Sale items are subject to our normal returns policy.
No refunds will be given on gifts unless refunded on to the purchaser’s card directly. To exchange a Christmas gift please visit our SoHo, NYC or Greenwich, Connecticut boutiques or contact customer care.
how to return an item
You will receive a receipt/invoice in your parcel. It is very important when you return an item that you include the tear-off returns slip, which can be found on the right hand side of your invoice. If you are unable to do this, please print out your order details from the website or your order confirmation email and indicate which items you are returning and include this in the parcel.
If the items you wish to return have been delivered in separate parcels please return them to us in one parcel with the corresponding return sections. By doing this we will be able to process your refund faster.
- Please complete the returns section on the front of your invoice using the returns codes listed.
- Enclose this form with the unwanted items in the reusable Sweaty Betty mailing bag.
- Attach the enclosed self-adhesive Smartpost returns label to the outside of your package. If your items were delivered in separate packages please return them to us in one package. If you have misplaced your Smartpost returns label then please contact customer care.
Then simply drop off your return package at your closest US Post Office pickup location. A $6 return postage fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

Please note that when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. Always retain proof of postage.
tracking your return parcel
For your records, take note of your tracking number from the return label included in your package. This can be found just under the barcode in the middle of the label and starts with 420.
If you drop your parcel at a FedEx point, track your parcel on fedex.com. If you drop your parcel at a USPS point, track your parcel on usps.com.
Once our USA warehouse has received your returned items we will credit the card used to pay for the order and send you a confirmation email. Please allow at least 2-3 working days for the refund to appear in your account. Please note that depending on your bank this may take up to 10 days.
how to order replacement items
In order to get your replacement items to you as conveniently as possible we are happy to offer a free delivery service on your replacement order. Please follow the steps below to make your new order:
- Shop for the items you would like to receive in replacement of your unwanted goods and place them in your online shopping bag.
- Log into your account.
- Once in your account click on 'replacement orders'.
- Select the items you would like to replace and click 'replace now'.
- You will be taken straight to checkout.
- If you used a discount code on your original order, please re-enter the code to receive the same discount on your replacement items.
- To make sure we have secured the stock for your new order you will need to enter your card details. Your card will be charged when your new order is despatched.
Please return the items you do not wish to keep by following the "How to return an item" guide above. Once we have received the returned items, we will refund the amount originally charged for these items immediately.
