Sweaty Betty blog: Sbhq
Empowering Women Through Fitness
Sweaty Betty team starts the year as they mean to go on - packed full office yoga session to detox after Christmas festivities! What are your New Year’s resolutions?
With a fresh updated look, new product zoom and catwalk videos so that you can really get a ‘feel’ for our kit!
We’ve worked round-the-clock over the last few months creating the new website and working closely with developers to make sure the next generation of www.SweatyBetty.com would be complete – and finally all the hard work has paid off!
Building a new website is like a vigorous training regime, lots of hard work has to go into it (think blood sweat and tears!), but once done you are left feeling invigorated, you look and feel better and the results, they speak for themselves.
To celebrate the launch of the new website our very own website team at SBHQ organised a mad hatter tea party showcasing the new site. A beautiful spread of teacakes and sandwiches was laid out by Melissa of Sweet Lilie! If you want to enjoy these you can by contacting Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org . Of course Champagne was also present (as no celebration is complete without a bottle of bubbly!). It was definitely an enjoyable evening and the perfect way to say hello to the new website.
........and it was off to the beach (waterproof mascara in hand!) for some fun and adventure SB style!
After one too many cocktails the night before and with a few bleary eyed Betties in tow, we started with a 7am run along West Wittering beach to clear the cobwebs. A cooked breakfast and a hot mug of coffee was all we could think of, so no sooner than we had kicked off our trainers and we were off to Simon and Tamara's for a well earned feast. With a full belly and the caffeine coursing through our veins, we grabbed the skateboards and made our way to the beach. This is when the fun really began!
In cold and soggy wetsuits we spent the day surfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding and even tried our hand at a little kayaking! We ate, we drank tea, played volleyball and even managed a second round of windsurfing in the afternoon. It was without a doubt the most fun day out the SB team have had in ages.....(well, since the Christmas party at Mahiki anyway!)
Looking forward to what Summer Camp 2011 will bring! Skydiving anyone???
The style hunt continues with our weekly Sweaty Betty Office looks from SBHQ!
Jodie from our marketing team is in the spotlight this week:
She is wearing the classic Boyfriend Tee paired with a classic trench coat, casual jeans and some lovely black leather boots.
