Born in 1998 in London’s Notting Hill, Sweaty Betty now has 40 UK boutiques including concessions in world-famous department stores Harrods and Selfridges, plus two boutiques in the USA. With a new mobile website, more international stores in the pipeline and a passionate, 400 strong fitness-loving team at its helm, Sweaty Betty is growing exponentially. Reporting to the Operations Co-ordinator, and working alongside both the Store Design and Operations Team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of our office and store operations and property.  Specific responsibilities include:
New Store openings
  • Support the Store Designer with sourcing furniture, materials & accessories
  • Order props, stationery & supplies
  • Provide administrative support to the Store Designer & assist with set up of new Boutiques
  • Assist with researching for new store mood boards
  • Liaise with warehouse for furniture, fixtures & hardware deliveries
  • Travel to new store openings to help with set up of stores & refits 
  • Attend site visits of new store builds & refits 
Ongoing Store support & improvements
  • Co-ordinate maintenance & upkeep of furniture & props, replacing when needed
  • Provide administrative support to Operations Team & Store Designer
  • Co-ordinate ad hoc projects to ensure that our Boutiques look their best
  • Act as a point of contact for Boutique staff with property or operational queries
  • Liaise with stores to repair broken elements such as store fixtures & fittings, hangers, hardware, mannequins etc.

Operations Support & Office Management
  • Order office stationery and provisions (milk, coffee, tea, post etc.)
  • Introduce new joiners to the office
  • Act as main liaison point for office service providers
  • Co-ordinate periodic office tidies and small fixes in the office
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks to support the Operations Team & Directors

  • A positive attitude and bags of enthusiasm
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • An interest in Retail Operations or Retail Store Design
  • Good Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills
  • AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop experience is desirable
