WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As e-commerce Development Manager, you will be working with third party software providers to maintain Sweaty Betty’s e-commerce infrastructure and manage any changes to the website or supporting interfaces.
 
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you will be the go-to person for all Sweaty Betty web development and changes to our e-commerce interfaces. You’ll be the liaison between the business and the developers -- actively working with our external web development agency to support the e-commerce team in day to day operations and driving innovation to enhance Sweaty Betty’s e-commerce business. Your first year will bring several exciting and high profile projects including project managing our web development agency in making key updates to Sweaty betty’s omni-channel experience.
 
Specific responsibilities will include:

Ensuring the smooth running of all e-commerce processes from day to day management of integration, taking the lead of new integrations, and project managing key initiatives.
Acting as the subject matter expert for the end to end e-commerce infrastructure, including maintaining process maps, assisting other teams with functionality questions, and reviewing design documentation for infrastructure updates.
Managing development workflow with our external web development agency and organising internal testing efforts prior to launch.
Collaborating with other departments within Sweaty Betty to improve the customer’s omni-channel experience and project managing our web development agency in delivering changes in accordance with the development roadmap.
Liaising between the business and all third party e-commerce technology partnerships.
Building relationships with key stakeholders across and outside the business to provide updates and promote collaboration. Key stakeholders include senior leadership in IT and Ops teams.
Assisting the stores and Customer Care department with any issues that arise in accessing internal areas of the website

 


WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER
Educated to degree level, preferably with a science or maths degree.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
Strong functional understanding of web and mobile ecommerce applications and/or retail systems.
An IT project management background, with strengths in managing functional e-commerce projects and gaining stakeholder agreement.
Experience working with all levels of seniority and managing the expectations of multiple project stakeholders.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Experience translating business objectives into deliverable plans.
