Our Marketing team are expanding and looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Direct Marketing Manager to join the team. In between working out and being active you will be working across a multitude of mailings including, catalogues, postcards, look books and other targeted mailings. You will own the complete process from planning through to analysis and you will work closely with the external agencies. You will also be the guardian of both prospect and current trade customer data, delivering insight, helping to shape strategy for segmented, highly targeted and measurable campaigns focused on loyalty and revenue development.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Reporting to the Head of Marketing with a direct report your responsibilities will include:
 
Strategy
§  Strategic communications calendar supporting the global marketing calendar and brand objectives
§  Owning campaigns from planning through to analysis
§  Identifying opportunities for new customer acquisition, reactivation and retention
§  Accurate and investigative reporting providing insights into consumer shopping behaviour
§  Achieving new customer acquisition targets
 
Direct Mail
§  Managing a comprehensive global programme of mailings including 12 different mailings per annum
§  Using data and insight to identify customer life-time values and model segmentation to drive customer value and retention.
§  Analysing campaign results to influence the strategy; monitoring trends and competitor activity
§  Ensuring that all direct marketing activity delivers on targets and a positive ROI
§  Adhering to globally defined brand guidelines and creative formats
 
CRM/Database
§  Managing and developing the different touch points to collect data, upload and maintain the database and enable a closer single customer view.
§  Developing and using insights from the customer database analysis to make the marketing efforts more effective and seamless across all channels
§  Overseeing all CRM activity whether emails or mailings
§  Using consumer data and research to identify new opportunities
§  Identifying opportunities to profile & segment the database
§  Designing CRM business plans to recruit and build long-term relationships with identified high-value consumers
§  Defining and acting upon the different customer lifecycle stages, developing the content calendar and ensuring quality, on-brand content is served at the right time, format and place.
§  Ensuring integration of interactive and CRM strategies with other departments (Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, PR…)
 
Relationships
§  Working closely with creative, brand and product teams across every mailing
§  Working closely with an agency partner on data plans, targeting and segmentation and with teams across the business to effectively forecast sales and monitor product performance.
§  Managing agency and supplier relationships to ensure targets are met 


WHAT YOU'LL HAVE
§  3+ years in Direct Marketing within a fashion or retail environment
§  Proven success in planning and delivering DM campaigns
§  Experience and an expert in the print production process – from creative to print
§  Excellent organisational and project management skills
§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
§  Experience of managing agencies and suppliers
