YogaMad Spiky Massage Ball 9cm
good for my foot cramps
I often get a cramp on my foot after swimming so this ball really helps relieve the pain on the arch of my foot. Ideally this can be avoided by introducing more potassium in my diet such as bananas but this ball does the job too.

Actually bought this for my boyfriend who cycles and needed something like this for a massage - it's great for yoga too!

Exactly what I was expecting!
Before I bought this, I was using a tennis ball to massage out my muscles. This is much more effective and is not too hard. (it's supposed to provide enough resistance to be able to release muscle tension)
Definitely worth buying and look up how to use, if not sure.

Love my blue balls!
Not much is better than rolling around with a pair of spiky blue balls!
If anything, I'd maybe like them a little firmer for when massaging my glutes but this is probably remedied by having less gluteal area too......
In all seriousness though, they're great!

Much too hard
Like the other reviewers, I found this far too tough. The sales lady commented when I returned it, that it's supposed to be hard, and painful, as that signifies tightness. My issue is more with the fact that the description of the product doesn't say that the ball is solid. I thought other reviewers were over exaggerating and that at least the spokes might be bendy, but no, it may as well be made of wood or glass or metal. If you have experience using these then perhaps you will already know this! But as a newbie I didn't. Oops!

I love my spiky ball!
I love my spiky ball and use it multiple times a day on my hamstrings and glutes. I sit on my ball and use it to pressure point very tense or tight areas. It has really made a difference and it is small enough that I carry it my purse where ever I go.

What a relief! I've used this little ball to help ease away aches and pains in my foot, calf muscle and upper leg. I've also used this between the wall and my upper back to ease stiffness between my shoulder blades.

Too hard and sharp
I use spiky balls in our Pilates class regularly so I thought it's be good to try it at home but these are uncomfortable too hard and sharp. Even with practice, they didn't soften.
What a shame. First SB product I've ever been disappointed in.

My physiotherapist recommended a spiky massage ball to help release my gluteal muscles as I have piriformis syndrome. This looks brutal but it is actually really effective at reliving the pain.

This massage ball is ideal for helping to release my piriformis muscle which I have had problems with for years. It also feels great over the rest of my legs and body after a good yoga practice... Love just rolling it under my feet too!
