Sweaty Betty Ambassador, Triathlete, Entrepreneur and Mother – these are the things I try (and sometimes fail) to balance on a daily basis. But even when things are less than balanced, I am still proud to be living proof that huge things can be achieved through embracing a fit and healthy lifestyle.  Only 3 years ago my biggest sporting achievement was completing a 10km run and I was a stay at home Mum with my former professional career a distant memory.  A love of cycling and desire to be my own boss prompted the creation of Beatbike Studios, an indoor and outdoor bike fitness company based in St Albans. Life motto: find your inner athlete and find yourself!

Power Song: Katy Perry - ROAR
Personal Best: In terms of STATS: 2:40 Olympic Triathlon, London Triathlon 2013. In terms of what really matters: inspiring my kids to do their first triathlon and the fact that I approach everything in my life like it's a PB!
Favourite Yoga Pose: Cat stretch - I do it on my bike!
Next Big Challenge: Half Iron Man, Mallorca, 2014

Running long distance for many years, Pilates was the only form of conditioning that kept me strong and reasonably injury free. I had an inspirational Pilates teacher who happened to say to me one day, ‘Jen you could teach this!’ Having worked long hours in design, it was time for a challenge that would give me a far better quality of life with my children.

I took a Body Control course and went on to teach Pilates for 3 years, finally deciding to open my own studio in Wheat Hampstead. My business has gone from strength to strength and I have the best clients I could wish for and the greatest work life balance!

Power Song: Florence & The Machine - Dog Days Are Over
Personal Best: Coming fourth in my first ever Olympic distance triathlon. Prague Marathon, cycling London to Paris and 600km in Vietnam!
      Favourite Yoga Pose: The Hundred
Next Big Challenge: Half Iron Man
