I have been working with movement for well over 20 years, firstly as a professional dancer with London Contemporary Dance Theatre and Richard Alston dance company, then as a Pilates teacher (Alan Herdman training, Classical Method and Polestar Pilates) and after that as a Yoga teacher (Iyengar based Dynamic Hatha Yoga).

I run my own private studio as well as teaching several larger groups. I am especially interested in specializing in movement for women over 40 and studying Ayurvedic practices.

I am passionate about teaching healthy movement and helping people to find better balance in their lives., to slow down and take a full revitalizing breath, and to get out of the head and into the body. Observing my students transformation keeps me motivated. They are my best teachers.

I qualified as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor 2 years ago, working on the gym floor, offering advice to members when needed and teaching classes at Virgin Active. After a year of being a Fitness Instructor I decided to progress my career and get my level 3 to become a Personal Trainer and I have never looked back, helping people achieve their goals and change their lives every day - it's my dream job!

I no longer work for a gym and am now a freelance Personal Trainer with a strong client base which is constantly expanding. Striving to be a healthier, fitter, stronger woman is my passion and I believe this passion rubs off on each and every one of my clients which is why they are constantly improving.

Power Song: Black Eyed Peas - Pump It
Personal Best: Walking the Great Wall of China in May 2012
Favourite Exercise: It has to be a squat!
Next Big Challenge: 3 Peaks Challenge
