My passion for fitness and teaching started in 2002, having qualified as a scuba diving instructor in Australia. Back in the UK, after completing several marathons and triathlons and spending most of my time training, I decided to qualify as a Personal Trainer and I have never looked back.
Much of my experience is in kettlebell instruction, boxing, bodyweight inverval training and sport specific training. I also specialise in pre and post natal exercise, helping expectant mums to keep healthy and new mums to regain their body confidence.
It makes my day when clients tell me how much their physical and mental wellbeing has improved or that their clothes are looser and it’s given them more confidence and self-assurance. This makes my job as a personal trainer very rewarding.

Amy’s fitness journey began during her career as a professional ballet dancer. She performed with the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City and the Northern Ballet Theatre in Leeds. She began adding yoga and Pilates to her training regime to increase strength and flexibility, and started cross training to maintain stamina and endurance for injury prevention.
Following years of cross training and exploring yoga and Pilates to further her dancing, she fell in love with group exercise and trained in Fitness Instruction, Exercise to Music, Pilates and Group Cycle between Virgin Active Kensington and Heartcore Fitness.
In the local community she teaches 27 classes a week. An avid wearer of Sweaty Betty kit, her favourite is the dance statement collection, especially a clever combination of cropped dance tees and sleek fitted leggings.
