After using Pilates to help me train for 7 marathons in 7 days, I became increasingly interested in the far reaching benefits of Pilates. The marathons left me with damaged knees and I found that Pilates was the best form of rehab.

My opinion of Pilates changed so quickly from the popular belief that Pilates is easy, to realising that Pilates can give you everything you need in your training programme. I decided to leave a stressful career and trained to become a Mat and Reformer Pilates Instructor, the best move I ever made!

I am now head trainer at Pilates HQ, a Reformer Pilates studio, and lead trainer at Absolute Pilates Plus. I run my own business PilatesPT, specialising in Cardiolates - a form of Pilates mixed with HIIT which promotes weight loss and cardiovascular strength.

Power Song: Latch - Disclosure feat. Sam Smith
Personal Best: 7 marathons in 7 days
Favourite Yoga Pose: Dandayamana Janushirasana (standing head to knee pose)
Next Big Challenge: I am currently looking for something different for my next charity challenge. Any suggestions are welcome!

My interest in fitness began in my teenage years when I first started modelling. In a body-conscious industry, I found relief in exercising. I have always loved spin class and would train myself in the gym, but it wasn't until I travelled to Los Angeles for work that my workouts became a profession. My first class at the original Barry's Bootcamp was a life-changer for me, and not only did I become an addicted client, but I soon began pursuing a career in fitness alongside acting and modelling. I qualified for my REPS level 3 and then embarked on training at the West Hollywood location to become a Barry's certified trainer. I introduced the London franchisees of Barry's to the concept in 2010 and embarked on helping them open the first location in Euston a year ago.

Power Song: Icona Pop (Tiesto Club Life Remix) - I Love It
Personal Best: Selling out my 8.20am Barry’s class twice in a week
Favourite Yoga Pose: Dahnurasana (Bow pose)
Next Big Challenge: Opening Barry's second UK location, continuing my own growth in fitness and trying to branch out into other avenues of teaching
