      Throughout my childhood and school days, I was always an athlete - regularly playing field hockey, basketball, tennis and competing in freestyle skiing. When I began my studies at Yale University, I became an aerobics teacher which soon developed into a keen passion for teaching in the fitness industry. Since then, I’ve taught a wide range of classes including yoga, step aerobics and kick boxing. My passion for part-time fitness teaching remained while studying at Harvard Business School, and continued after I graduated and began working 9-5. It was only when my eldest daughter started kindergarten that I decided to follow my passion full-time and trained in barre method, which I still teach today alongside vinyasa yoga.

      Growing up in Boston with a professional tennis coach for a father, I was always a keen gymnast and tennis player. Despite training hard to become a stronger athlete, gymnastics began to take its toll on my body during my senior year, so I made the decision to turn my attention to tennis and my studies in kinesiology. I continued playing in competitive matches and worked hard to become a personal trainer, developing a love for TRX Suspension Training and High Intensity Interval Training. I came across Pure Barre in 2010 and was so inspired that I quickly started teaching the class alongside my Strength & Conditioning internship and training as an Olympic lifter. In 2012, I took my passion to the next level and opened a Pure Barre franchise in Greenwich CT, where I still work today. I love seeing change in my clients and bringing out the best in them using Pure Barre techniques.
