      My sporting career started with my role as Sports Captain at school, I was a cross-country runner and running for Middlesex when I was just 13. I ‘ve never lost interest in all things "active" ever since.

      How do I keep motivated? Variety, Variety, Variety!!! Don’t be afraid try something new – whatever your age or physical condition. Learn a new sporting discipline (or re-learn an old one), take swimming lessons, or get more body aware with Yoga... Step outside your comfort zone. Read, research and understand more about your body and nutrition. Push yourself but know when to ease off too.

      I started practicing yoga 10 years ago, but it was in 2007 that my love affair with power yoga really began. After a decade working in the busy events world, I took my passion for the practice full-time and trained as a yoga instructor. I’ve never looked back, and feel truly blessed to work in an industry that I love. As well as teaching 3 - 4 hours per day in top London studios such as Lumi Power Yoga and The Power Yoga Company (alongside private sessions), I still attend other yoga classes three times a week and begin each day with my own Yin Yoga practice. I love walking and playing tennis, and every Tuesday can be found horseriding in Richmond Park. Alongside yoga, I am also a qualified Nutrition/Health Coach, which I discovered after a difficult time in my personal life, when I sought to nourish myself from within. The combination of nutrition and yoga has completely revolutionised my life.
