      I grew up in Wollongong, a large beachy town in Australia. I was never interested in sport, training or exercise. I was an overweight teenager and always had the desire to be fit and healthy but lacked the motivation to do anything about it.
      The change came in 2006 when I became a Fitness Instructor and started socialising with people who enjoyed fitness! Their enthusiasm for teaching, training and eating healthily inspired me to hit the gym. Working with clients on a daily basis, attending courses, networking with other trainers and professionals, eating clean food and training hard are now things that are all part of my existence!

      If you feel like you’re starting again or your end goal seems far away, remember that chubby over-weight girl from Wollongong… It really is never too late!

    • Jeannie

      Passionate about sport from a young age, Jeannie spent ten years as a personal trainer, specialising in sport-specific training, Aqua workouts and nutrition. After a decade in the industry, Jeannie suffered a back injury and turned to Pilates to aid her recovery. She became passionate about the practice, completed her STOTT Pilates and Reformer qualifications, and has been a freelance instructor ever since. Alongside her role as a PT to a large client base, Jeannie also runs post-natal bootcamps, teaches Hula-core and is a regular guest presenter at Champneys Spa Resort, teaching circuits, Pilates and Aqua. Always looking to expand her fitness repertoire, Jeannie has completed her Muay Thai training in Koh Phangan, Thailand and conquered the cross-country obstacle race Nuclear Rush earlier this year. Outside of the studio, Jeannie can be found enjoying Pegasus Military fitness and long bike rides in Epping Forest.
