20 years ago, a change in career path initially led me to qualify as an ‘exercise to music’ instructor which rapidly developed into full time personal training.
My mission,’ to bring health to the local community through a range of classes for all ages and abilities’ led me to open a ‘base camp’ where I offer strength training classes, complimented by Pilates and hot/flow yoga.
I teach ‘my trainer’ classes which deliver small group ‘personal training’. This is a bodyweight training class with an influence of strong yoga to promote strength, flexibility and posture.
‘teamTRX’ suspension training achieves rapid results in strength and flexibility. Ideal for both complete beginners and advanced students, effort is measured by the level of sweat and groaning!

I have always been passionate about health and fitness. As a child, I was a regular on the hockey and netball pitch, forever throwing myself into any sporting opportunity that came my way. It was my passion for swimming, however, that continued into adulthood, leading me to become a swim teacher and competitor at Masters level. After weeks of early morning training sessions and a rigorous fitness plan, I recently won the Masters nationals competition in the 1,500m distance for my age group.
Alongside swimming, I am also a Pilates instructor. I took up the practice seven years ago to help with recovery from injury, and loved it so much that I quickly gave up my desk job to become a qualified instructor. Now teaching mat and reformer classes inBeaconsfield, Mayfair and Tring Pilates Studio, I feel so lucky to be able to help others on their journey of personal improvement.
While swimming and Pilates may seem like more than enough to occupy my time, I am also a keen runner and cyclist – regularly competing in cross-country events, marathons and triathlons.
