Yoga Pose of the Week (Week 22)
A perfect pose to start or finish your yoga pratice. The name and the look of this pose is deceptive. It is certainly 'easy' to get in to and to be comfortable in, but it can also be quite challenging. Try these top tips to perfect the pose... Start by bringing yourself in to the pose now. Then try pulling your spine upwards so it is long and straight, making sure you are on your sitting bones, bringing your shoulders down and back, having your chin just slightly tucked in and drawing your lower abdomen up and in to support your back. Practice these points a few times and Easy Pose will certainly become 'easy' and you will find you have a healthier back and spine as well!
