Sweaty Betty, Uniting the Nation Through Get Fit For Free

During the month of September 2009 Sweaty Betty will be uniting the nation through Get Fit For Free. Over 4 weeks women of Britian are invited to practice Core Strengthening, Ballet, Running and boxercise both in store and online.

Classes will be run in each of our locations across the nation by experts in each of the given fields. For those that feel more comfortable participating in sport in their own home they can sign up online for Sweaty Betty’s free instructional webcast of the event. They will receive a reminder email prior to the event to ensure maximum participation of the nation.

Through these sessions we:

On September 9th, 2009 all women are invited to attend CORE STRENGTH. This session will aid in the strengthening of the muscles from the neck and shoulders through to the pelvis. The stronger the core, the more stable the spine, the more powerful the contraction and reaction of your extremity muscles

On September 16th, 2009 all women are invited to attend BALLET. This session will aid correct body placement and specific muscle strengthening. Ballet using both primary and secondary muscle groups, allowing you to build a longer and more lean body structure. Ballet also aids in the training of both ankles and knees as proper shock absorbers making it a great companion for runners.

On September 23rd, 2009 all women are invited to attend RUNNING. This session will promote the importance of cardiovascular workouts. Regular cardio workouts have been proven to reduce cholesterol, improve your lung capacity and protect your heart and give you that that elusive 'runners high'.

On September 30th, 2009 all women are invited to attend BOXERCISE. This session will enable you to combine you robic and robic energy systems. It will challenge your stamina, reflexes and hand-eye coordination.

In addition to GET FIT FOR FREE program. Women across the nation are encouraged to attend our regular clubs as quoted in the Wall Street Journal 'For those seeking a more permanent group, the fitness chain Sweaty Betty organizes women’s yoga, Pilates, robics, running and walking clubs throughout Britain'.
