Sun is shining, weather is sweet..

Incredible isn’t it, the difference the weather can make to our activity levels? I’ve just returned from a fabulous  weekend away in Cardiff with the girls and instead of feeling hungover, exhausted and groggy as per norm, I’m feeling energised, positive and inspired because the great weather got us all out and about and having lots of fun.

There was no lounging around in bed, on the sofa or in bars for us (although a few shandies in a pub garden HAD to be done!). Instead, we were all up at the crack of dawn on the Saturday and Sunday, enjoying long walks in the park, a spot of messing about on the river in pedalos, and an exhilarating bike ride in the valleys, which meant we could enjoy some guilt-free barbeque action in the evenings -  with delicious, healthy, home-made burgers no less!

The only downer to be found were those annoying people who would say, ‘Make the most of the sun now while it lasts ... this is our summer.’ I hate that attitude, and I’d rather live in hope of just a few weeks of UK sunshine to enjoy in June or July, than put a damper on the whole thing in April. So to those people, I say, ‘Bah! Humbug!’, and to everyone else, ‘Let the Sunshine In!’
