Some Autumn Sun….

Spent half term week at Simon’s cousin’s Riad in Fez, Morocco and on the beach at Tarifa, South of Spain. The Palais Amani in Fez is spectacular and we were so well looked after. Jemima and Abdel’s attention to detail is outstanding. They have sourced and had everything custom-made from all over Morocco. It is 1930’s-inspired with traditional and contemporary elements blended perfectly. From a detailed etched piece of silver artwork on the wall in one bedroom (that took 6 months to make) to each lamp and keyfob, everything ties together, quietly whispering luxury whilst still representing a Moorish feel. They have achieved an amazing “handwriting”, something we talk about a lot here at Sweaty Betty as we are also striving to achieve a strong “handwriting”. With different designers working on separate elements of the range and buyers sourcing from different parts of the world, it is really important that we have a consistent look and feel for our brand to be recognized and trusted.
