With marathon training reaching the home straight, hope of summer sun bringing outdoor training, swimming and any sort of exercise that is perfect for the great outdoors, we’ve been thinking about our Personal Best and want to be inspired by you.
From 4th – 11th April we want to be empowered and inspired by your personal best via our competition #PostYourPB
We’ve gathered some from HQ which really stand out:
“Continuing my work outs until I was 36 weeks pregnant”

“Running my first ever 10K and beating my husband’s PB”

“A warm up 2k swim, followed by a PB of 400m swim in 7 minutes” -Tamara

“Finishing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge (24 miles, 3 mountains) in 9h45m”

Now its your turn! To win £150 of Sweaty Betty Kit plus a pair of Asics trainers (2 x runners up will also receive a pair of Asics trainers each) just follow the below:
-          Compose your inspiring PB in less than 140 characters
-          Tweet it to @sweatybetty_uk

By Samantha Wilson - 6th April 2013
Started running just 6 weeks ago and nearly collapsed after running for 3 mins! I've just ran 3 miles in 30 mins and I'm blown away with my progress! My PB will always be making the decision to get up off the couch, put my trainers on and get out on the road!

Having had my second child, a friend and I decided to train for a sprint triathlon. I got the bug and then decided to enter a full Ironman giving myself 9 months training, having never done any sporting challenges like this before. I completed it in 14 hours 15 mins last year. Anything is achievable!
First Attempt At A Triathlon
By Toni Wrayford - 5th April 2013
My first attempt at a triathlon on 30 June on the Isles of Scilly, 0.3 mile swim in sea, 12 mile bike ride, 3 mile run. I would like to complete the event below 2 hours, do every split knowing I couldn't do any better. Training going really well. Sweat Betty kit being very well used - indeed. In fact I'll be wearing the trisuit for the event.

April last year, I was told I would never be able to run.I then had heart surgery and stopped smoking. One month later I ran my first ever Race For Life in 26 minutes and then went on to run two half marathons in under two hours. This year the sky is the limit. I am fitter than I have ever been and enjoying life to the max!
