The secret behind a number of London's best bums, Paola di Lanzo moved to London in 1998 from Australia to work as a personal trainer at an exclusive Knightsbridge gym. After having her first child, she discovered the benefits of Pilates and effectively rehabilitated her post-natal body into pre-baby shape.

Two children later (yes that body has had three kids), after qualifying at The Pilates Institute, Paola wanted to create a workout that was fast paced and energetic, drawing elements from the various classes she had taught over the years. Fast paced with a big focus on dynamic Pilates, barre and functional training, Paola's Body Barre was born a full-body workout designed for serious burn. Three Burning Questions

Describe your morning routine?
 
My alarm usually goes off at 6am. I make myself a cup of tea and get ready for my first client at around 6.30am. After three sessions or classes, I’m usually starving so need to eat eggs in any form. They are my favourite and get me through to a late lunch. 
 
Your favourite workout and why?

My favourite workout is my own, it's a one stop shop for the body. Paola’s BodyBarre is an efficient workout that takes elements from Pilates, ballet barre conditioning, functional training and HIIT. The class ensures you burn calories, build core strength, tone the whole body and improve your posture, without bulking the muscles up. 
 
What is your best healthy living tip?

Balance is the key, I live by an 80/20 rule as I don’t believe in being super strict 100% of the time. During the week I am very controlled with my eating and exercise so at the weekend I can enjoy myself with the children. I certainly won't beat myself up if I have a burger, I think the negative energy and stress you create for yourself is far worse than having the treat itself.
