Chiara Pellegrino is one to watch on the London fitness scene. A professional dancer turned personal trainer, she was recently nominated by Women’s Health as one of the most inspiring PT’s in London. In fact you’ll find her 10 week Fit Body Plan in the Jan/Feb issue.
Chiara developed her own signature class, TotalBody, a mix of cardio and resistance training to music after spotting a gap in the market. A favourite on London’s fitness scene, she hosts monthly pop-ups in top studios with other health bloggers and wellness editor’s. When she’s not training the fitness elite as a Sweaty Betty ambassador, you’ll find her blogging at 4FitnessSake or walking her puggle Coco.
Three burning questions
Describe your morning routine?
In total honesty my morning routine depends on how early my day starts. When I have clients at 6.30am, I barely have time to grab my coffee, a black Americano with coconut or almond milk.
When I’m not working first thing, I like to start the day with a hot lemon water and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Then I’ll walk to work listening to a podcast, at the moment I love ATP Project.
Your favourite workout and why?
My favourite workout is a proper HIIT session. I find interval training is the most efficient way to stay fit, strong and lean.
Number one wellness tip?
Don’t compare yourself to anybody else. You and your body shape are unique and that’s what makes you beautiful.
