An Exciting Adventure!

So.... we fly out to Tokyo TOMORROW!!! Very excited and looking forward to training and competing out there.
We will be starting at a training camp at the Japanese Institute of Sport for a few days which will give us a chance to get over the flights and get focussed for the comps. After the training camp we fly to Shanghai and a few days later after training days we have the first World Cup.
We will then fly back to Tokyo- train again for a few days and again compete in our second World Cup. Then it's home time and prep for the British Championships which are just 10 days after we get back.
I think I have everything ready! I want to make sure that I am recovering properly from the flights and from the training sessions to make sure that I am getting the best out of myself. I will be trying to get enough rest and sleep and once we have our revised full training and competition schedules, my coach and I will set our plans.
And lastly, I need to make sure that I look after myself so that when I do come back it won't take me long to adjust and I can get on with my prep before the British Champs.
My goals for the trip are to take advantage of the extra competition experience on the World stage and to compete what I have been doing in training in that environment. I want to make use of the training out there, learn and take in all that I can which will help me in the future. I will do my best- and I guess that is all you can do :)
