Sweaty Betty

This season is all about mixing unexpected pieces together. Choose a colourway, and mix up pieces from different categories and sports to create an edgy, on-trend look perfect from street to studio.

The AW14 collection tells the story of the unexpected joy in finding a hidden floral oasis in the tangle of urban architecture. Soft, colourful and floral prints taken from photography at London's Kew Gardens are juxtaposed against tarmac-grey marls and neon city lights. Inspired by Parkour and Bowery-style graffiti, the collection delivers a cool British vibe.

Sixteen years ago, Tamara Hill-Norton founded Sweaty Betty with the aim of ‘making women look as beautiful during workouts as they do day-to-day'. The new ‘Hidden Treasures in an Urban Jungle' collection perfectly captures her vision; adding street style to technical activewear, with flattering shapes and the latest in fabric technology, designed to enhance performance from run to dance, swim to yoga, bike to ski.

This is the outfit to standout on the slopes. Wear the bright yellow salopettes with the braces hanging down for easy relaxed style, paired with a vibrant vest and bra in contrasting colours. Create that off-duty skier vibe by draping a black fur-hooded jacket around the shoulders, and finish with a bold-printed beanie and goggles. Swap the ski boots for on-trend shearling boots to transform your look for après-ski.

The ultimate relaxed London look styles a double-layered burnout vest with slim-fit track pants, neon bra and on-trend wedge trainers. Able to transition from street to studio with ease, the black Studio Holdall completes the look.

This look is all about layers: relaxed harem pants over leggings, and shorter vests over long. For that on-trend street vibe, pair tops in bright clashing colours with a grey marl bra and runners pocket, and finish with fingerless black leather gloves.

This outfit transforms a basic essential into an unexpected style statement. Style the stamina bra back-to-front with a brightly-coloured upbeat, bold printed leggings and fluro trainers. A slouchy, oversized hoody worn hood-up and off-the-shoulder creates a nonchalant look with an urban edge.

A cool look that is designed to standout on the street and in the studio, the bold monochrome print of the Acceleration Cycle Top looks great paired with the bright pop of colour from the vest. Add relaxed-fit capris and wedge trainers, and finish the look with a backpack thrown casually over one shoulder.
