I was in Bath last week for one of our squad camps. Here we were retested on our strength and conditioning exercises and I was really happy with how I have progressed since Christmas-despite the injury!! My scores had improved massively on all the exercises! Very pleased with that! Whilst I was there, for the first time since the acident, I was allowed to get on the trampoline and and do some bouncing on my back and very small jumps! Yay! I am definitely in the last stages of rehab now which is so good. Now I just have to strengthen it before I can return to training properly and this should only take a couple of weeks. I am so excited to get back to it!
I have also been invited to compete in the Canada Cup- in Canada- in July!Woohoooooo! I have my fingers crossed that I will be ready to partake in it. There are only 8 women across the World (not including the Canadian women!) competing in it including myself and Kat, who is another British trampolinist, so I am thrilled to be asked! It is the week before our National Championships and just over a week after a World Cup in Poland. July is sooooo busy and there is so much to look forward to in that month I so want to be able to compete in these comps!
I don't know if anyone saw, but I was in the Independent's monthly magazine- The Red Bulletin the other day! I had no idea until I got a text telling me. It was really weird seeing myself in it but so exciting!
Hope you are all well! If you get a chance write me a comment if you have any feedback for my blog, I would love to hear from you!
