Red Carpet Workouts
GOOD morning Betties.
This week is Oscars week. Yes, they are officially over but this is the week when all the magazine with the fancy frocks come out. I'm looking forward to some time out at the weekend for some serious dress examination! Who cares who won what? What were they wearing!
The A-list celebrities who graced the red carpet at the Kodak Theatre would have prepared for months knowing that this was the time to look good. It's a great incentive to have the thought of a thousand flash cameras watching your every pose.
So what's your red carpet moment?
Perhaps it's a wedding (congratulations if it is), or a party, or a holiday, or perhaps a sporting event you've entered. When you are planning your workout schedule and fitness goals it's always great to have a red carpet moment in mind. That way you can truly visualise yourself in the moment when you have reached all of your goals.
So here's a little task for this week. Think of your red carpet moment and then revisit the goal setting blogs I wrote recently. Picture yourself at your end step. Whenever training gets tough you've got that end moment firmly imprinted in your mind.
