Known for their wholesome and healthy food, it's safe to say the queues have to be seen to be believed at Farm Girl's Notting Hill cafe. To celebrate the opening of Farm Girl @ No.1 Carnaby, we're giving you two Instagram and taste bud friendly recipes that you'll find on the menu to try at home. You can thank us later. 

Coconut BLT Sandwich

Ingredients

2 medium slices of toasted sourdough or gluten free bread
2 small slices from a large beef tomato
4 leaves of baby gem
2 tablespoons of cashew cream
1/2 cup of coconut bacon
A pinch of himalayan salt + black cracked pepper
1/3 avocado
1 small slice from a red onion
2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

Method

Mash the avocado, red onion, fresh lime and fresh chilli together until it becomes a spreadable paste.

Toast the sourdough for 2-3 minutes. Spread the guacamole on one slice of toast and the cashew cream on other. Stack the rest in-between and enjoy!

Charcoal & Chai Breaky Bowl

Ingredients

1 cup of Rude Health coconut milk
4 tablespoons coconut yoghurt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
A pinch of cracked pepper
Freshly grated ginger (approx. 1 teaspoon)
2 teaspoons charcoal powder
1 tablespoon manuka honey
1 large dollop of almond butter
1 tablespoon of chai syrup
Ice

Method

Blend ingredients altogether until smooth and creamy. Pour into a breakfast sized bowl and top with your choice of nutty and colourful things!
