Farewell Edinburgh...

posted on Tuesday, 28th June 2011 | find under Nutrition
Work outs have always been a big part of my life. From kettle bells to spinning, there's too many to mention, so you can imagine my excitement when I was asked on the last day of the Edinburgh Road Show do you want a Work Out out or a Work In? Always looking for a new fitness challenge I chose the Work In.
And the difference; a Work Out exerts energy through activity resulting in the body using up time and resources to recover. A Work In involves actions which increase energy flow and resources within the body.
We completed a circuit focused on the five primal movements finishing with a lesson in rolling and inch worming, these are childhood movements rather than dance moves! I finished feeling well worked, balanced and ready for the final event. Thanks again to Boddy Language for another fantastic session.
Pilates Works are opening their new studio in July and let us in for a preview event before the grand opening. With Pilates, Physiotherapy and natural beauty all under one roof in Stockbridge  we enjoyed a class followed by shopping the SB collection. We setup in the large studio where the reformers will be.
We couldn't leave Edinburgh without sampling a locally caught Haggis (one of us did the other opted for fish pie) and a walk to Arthurs seat, no bother!
Thank you for having us Edinburgh, we wave goodbye today to a rainy yet still bonnie Scotland.
