Following a life-changing trip to the Himalayan Yoga Institute in India, Charlie Morgan decided to leave her job in buying to deepen her knowledge of yoga. After qualifying as a yoga teacher in Bali, Charlie is now a Sweaty Betty ambassador and official trainer of the Harlequin Rugby Team. Teaching a dynamic version of vinyasa flow yoga at studios around London, Charlie also teaches internationally at resorts and owns the Yoga and Photography company Sepia Lotus Retreats. When she's not on the mat, you'll often find her cycling around South West London with her dachshund Chip. 

Three burning questions

Describe your morning routine?
The first thing I do every morning is my meditation practice. As my alarm goes off, I sit up in bed, pop my pillow under my tailbone to support my back, and sit for at least 10 minutes in meditation. Depending on how I’m feeling, I either just follow my breath in and out, or if my mind’s busy, then I use audible aids, such as the Headspace app. Once I have done my meditation, unless I have a very early class, I do a self-asana practice. This lasts anything between 10 minutes to an hour. As long as I have done my meditation and got my body moving in some way, I then feel ready to take on the day! 
Your failsafe workout and why?
My current failsafe workout is the Ride 2 Tone class at Heartcore in Notting Hill, it's my dream combination. It entails a super charged 30 minute ride to incredible tunes, followed by 30 minutes of yoga inspired stretching and toning. Not only does it work every single muscle in your body, but afterwards you feel completely energised, revived, but at the same time very zen! 
What five items would we always find in your fridge?
Rude Health almond milk, flaxseed oil, avocados, dark chocolate and green olives.
