Yoga Pose of the Week (Week 11)
If you have ever attempted headstand then you will understand why it is named the 'king of the poses'. It is certainly the most challenging yoga pose but when you have mastered it, it gives you a the best yoga high! This pose is renowned for calming the brain so is perfect if you have headache or are feeling fatigued. I always do it near a wall as it gives you that added bit of security knowing you quite literally have something to fall back on. This pose should always be done for the first time with an qualified teacher and be wary of it if you have any back or neck problems.
