Where We're Training This Week: Boom Cycle

Always keen to mix up their workouts, this week the Sweaty Betty team took their training to the high-energy atmosphere of Boom Cycle in Holborn, Central London for a sweaty spin class set to a pumping soundtrack.

With their original location in Shoreditch as one of London's top spin studios since 2011, the new Holborn location opened in January 2014 to much buzz from the press. A few of the Sweaty Betty team have been regulars at both locations for some time, loving their dynamic spin classes for the New York-style vibe with dimly-lit studios, pumped-up energy and loud music. 

Armed with towels and water, the Sweaty Betty team headed in for the 7:30am class with the hugely motivational Shara. Forty-five minutes after climbing onto the bike, the ladies emerged sweaty and on a high, with their individual bike screens assuring them they had worked seriously hard. While it can be considered a traditional spin class in the sense that there were no weights or arm exercises as per some other new studios, this was a fantastic workout that got the team pumped up and ready to take on the day, courtesy of the high-energy buzz that fills the studio.

The REN products in the showers and delicious post-workout protein shakes were purely a bonus... 
What To Wear:
