For the Mind, Body, Soul.....and Face
This week I am preparing for the Mind Body Soul Show 2009 in Olympia, London on October 3rd. I am often asked to present at shows but this will be my first time at the MBS Show. I am looking forward to having some time to look around the show as well as I always love getting new ideas and seeing what is happening around the country in the health and wellbeing world. I am presenting on Face Yoga www.faceyogatraining.com which is a combination of face exercises and massage techniques to help you look younger and healthier. I thought it would be great to take you through one of the exercises so you can have a go yourself.
This technique is designed to give a rosy glow to the cheeks by boosting circulation. Only practice it if it feels comfortable for you:
Start by making a pincher with your thumb and first two fingers on each hand. Then, gently start to pinch your cheeks, one hand each side. Move gently over the full length and width of your cheeks. Spend about 30 seconds on this. After you have finished your cheeks will feel warm and tingly and when you look in the mirror you will see a healthy glow. This technique is great if you feel tired but want to look full of vitality.
