IT’S that bikini fear time of year. Beautiful swimsuits that make your credit cards quiver are sitting, waiting for you on the high street. But is your body ready?
I’m all for being beautiful just the way you are. We’ve all seen those hot, curvy girls on the beach, rocking a gorgeous booty in a teensy swimsuit and yes, it’s all about confidence and ‘the strut’. But it’s not all about looks. It’s about health and being the fittest you, you can be. So if you’ve gained a few extra pounds over the winter months and you’re in a fix on how to get rid of them without become the diet industry’s next sucker, read on.
Carrot stick induced indigestion is unnecessary, you don’t have to count calories or be hungry to strip fat. In fact, starvation will only cause your metabolism to drop, leave you mega grumpy and quite possibly fatter than when you started.
Now I’m not ashamed to admit that post Isaac, I’m a little curvier than the usual me. About an extra stone (ish) and I’m not about to buy a whole new wardrobe - I like my old one and respect my bank balance. So over the next few weeks I’m embarking on my own little fat-stripping mission. I’m calling it Operation Hot Mama (OHM). Between now and 26th June, when I embark on my Zest Girls’ Big Adventure, I’m setting myself a fat loss target of 5Ibs (just over 2 kilos and 3% body fat). The end of June also marks six months since I squeezed my little cherub out of a very small hole in my nether regions, so it’s about time to unveil the inner goddess that is Isaac’s mummy!
Why am I telling you all this? Well I want to share my best fat stripping tips to help you get there too. From apples and anaerobic training to watercress and weights. Stay tuned beach goddess.
