The famous faces of Body By Simone: Celebrities who love the workout
An A-list physique requires an A-list trainer, and Simone De La Rue’s roster of famous celebrities includes many of the world’s most beautiful women – all of them with enviable fitness and the bodies to show for it. As Sweaty Betty’s Get Fit 4 Free campaign brings Simone’s in-demand Body By Simone workout online and to boutiques across the world, we highlight just a few of Simone’s LA and NYC studio regulars.

West Coast fans
Simone’s West Hollywood Studio is a hotspot for famous faces seeking a mood-boosting, calorie-torching, high-speed workout. When a star needs to get in shape for a film, Simone is their first port of call. When Naomi Watts was preparing for her role in Diana, she undertook a gruelling three-month regime with Simone, mixing resistance training with high-energy dance cardio. Known for its quick results, the Body By Simone workout was also Emily Blunt’s solution for returning to work after the birth of her daughter Hazel.
Another devotee is People magazine’s recently crowned ‘Most Beautiful Woman of the Year’ Sandra Bullock. Crediting green juice and Body By Simone workouts 4-5 times a week with helping her to stay balanced and grounded, Sandra has stated that she loves how Simone favours high reps with low weight and constant movement to release more fat-burning potential with every workout.
A pre-birthday workout is always necessary for a West Coast girl to balance out any excess cake, and Body By Simone fan Reese Witherspoon is no different. The day before her latest celebration, the star posed alongside Simone at her West Hollywood studio, swapping her usual Sweaty Betty vest for a BBS tee and captioning the photo with ‘there’s nothing like a little pre-birthday boogie.’
The studio has also become a favourite for socialising. Emmy Rossum often joins a group of girlfriends at a class, and model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley recently invited an Elle journalist to Body By Simone in order to schedule an interview around her workout. And it’s not only women who work out at Body By Simone – Matt Damon often accompanies his wife Luciana to the studio, though Simone has confirmed he focuses more on ab-work than dancing.

The first Body By Simone studio in Manhattan’s Chelsea district has been a beloved workout destination for those in the know since it opened in 2011. One early adopter was Anne Hathaway, who is regularly photographed leaving the studios after a sweaty workout. Describing Simone as a trainer who can “make all workouts feel like playtime,” Anne recently told Vogue magazine how she loves the studios fun atmosphere.
Another fan is Women’s Health cover star, Sports Illustrated model and wife of John Legend, Chrissy Teigan, who adds Body By Simone cardio to her regime to balance out her love of food. Working out with Simone and her team of trainers four to five times a week enables the model to enjoy her favourite treats like champagne and hearty dinners.
Teigan is not the only model who favours BBS. Former Victoria’s Secret stars Karolina Kurokova and Anja Rubik are regulars at the Manhattan studio, sampling classes from Trampoline Rebounding to signature dance cardio.
With so respected celebrities crediting Simone for their fitness success, we hope you’re inspired to try Body By Simone for yourself.
