Running out of time...

The get fit 4 free campaign is starting to heat up with only one week to go until challenge week (13-19th Feb).
Our running clubs have battled the elements in training tackling everything from torrential rain and mud, to -10° temperatures and heavy snow. As usual, dedication has been the order of the day with clubs members eyes set firmly on the prize (a £50 SB voucher for every member of the running club who undertakes the most miles in challenge week) and the kudos of being hailed champions.
A special mention to one of our Cambridge runners who joined us for last year’s SB British Run and got the bug – ‘The Sweaty Betty get fit 4 free challenge really kick started my love for running. Last year I ran for the first time with the Cambridge girls and I’ve been hooked ever since. ‘
Good luck in the final week of training and remember ‘the hardest step for a runner to take is the first one out the door’ – Ron Clarke.
