Describe the moment you knew you wanted to be a trainer...
What's your secret to staying fit and healthy?
What one achievement would you identify as your Personal Best?
The sweat connection...
Brit has all the positivity and contageous energy we look for in an ambassador and is not afraid to push you to your boundries in her very sweaty classes! You cannot help but feel inspired and energised to push that extra bit harder.
After having an interest in health and fitness from an early age, I combined this love with writing and began working as a fitness journalist, eventually ending up as Sweaty Betty copywriter. While working at Sweaty Betty HQ, I began teaching classes, which encouraged me to qualify as a personal trainer. I now teach private clients, bootcamps and in studio at Heartcore and Ride Republic.
I wrote down four major objectives for the year in January. It's now June and I've achieved the first three - to run a retreat, write and release an ebook and launch my own bootcamps, so I'd have to say my biggest accomplishment is taking the first step as a fitness entrepreneur and believing I could do it.
I believe in time-effective and realistic lifestyle adaptations, so I'm not in the gym multiple times a day and I don't spend hours in the kitchen. I fuse heart rate elevating movement with conditioning exercise and eat a balanced diet.

Describe the moment you knew you wanted to be a trainer...
Looking back I always knew I wanted to change people's lives through health and fitness. But it was only when I was in the middle of a deep back bend during a class in Notting Hill that it struck me. I thought: "I could do this. I could teach yoga. I love it and want to share it."
What's your secret to staying fit and healthy?
I stay fit and healthy by balancing emotional wellbeing through meditation, exercise and listening to the nutritional needs of my body. I'm gluten and dairy free, and rarely drink alcohol.
What one achievement would you identify as your Personal Best?
My personal best is being kind and compassionate while taking the moral high ground.
