Describe the moment you knew you wanted to be a trainer...

What's your secret to staying fit and healthy?

The sweat connection...

Felice is an incredible aspiration in the Connecticut fitness and lifestyle communities. Her experience, knowledge and success as an instructor came at en early age. As early as high school, the Greenwich, Conn. native found enjoyment in teaching after-school aerobic and step classes at Greenwich Fitness Center and Amfit. She taught throughout her collegiate years at University of Michigan and later in CA, NY and CT, where she taught spin classes at 24-Hour Fitness, NYH&R, Crunch, Go Figure and Fly Wheel.

I have been involved in sports and physical fitness my whole life. As a teenager, I even taught aerobics as my after school job. Once I started teaching I was hooked! Even as a young adult, I loved the connection that teaching a class brought to my students and me..

I am at my personal best when I am doing something that my future self will be thankful for.

Feeling my body in movement and being constantly focused on a life of sound mind and body brings me great joy.

I have always been a devoted runner and loved the theraputic nature it brings. After taking up indoor cycling classes, I felt a similar connection so after a year of taking classes religiously I certified to teach.

What's your secret to staying fit and healthy?

Keeping your exercise routines fresh and challenging is the key.

What one achievement would you identify as your Personal Best?

My personal best is when effort, passion, and performance collide. It is when I throw myself, mind, body and soul into my task, my work, my project and deliver to the best of my ability without concern for the "finish line” or outcome, but truly in the moment.

The sweat connection...

Sweaty Betty knew Rhodie had to be our next Greenwich, CT ambassador after taking her spin class at Joyride. Her passion, energy and motivation during class was like nothing we've experienced. Her clients walked out of the room with a look of pure joy and empowerment. Rhodie's teaching philosophy is one that empowers her clients to meet their fitness goals and gain the emotional strength they need to overcome challenges.

What one achievement would you identify as your Personal Best?

I knew I wanted to teach Pilates the minute I got back on the reformer bed after not being on one in about 5 years. I knew I wanted to teach yoga after taking my first yoga class ever with Rodney Yee.

My secret to staying fit and healthy is self-discipline. Showing up to practice consistently and making as many healthy choices as I can each day helps me live out my ethos of 'everything in moderation'.

My personal best is always on my mat practising yoga. Through the art and science of yoga I have learned to turn fear into compassion, tame the endless string of new desires, find strength through sadness and more importantly embrace the present moment.
