I have been practicing yoga for about 13 years. Initially coming to it from a workout perspective, it fast became something pretty integral to my life after an amazing trip to the Himalayan Institute of Yoga in 2011. Keen to share the positive effects that yoga has had on my life, I left my corporate job as a buyer and qualified in Bali with WLYA. My approach to yoga is down-to-earth, fun and challenging, whilst still accessible, maintaining the philosophy that yoga is for all!
Power Song: Daft Punk - Get Lucky
Personal Best: Languages – I speak French, German, Italian, Spanish and a sprinkling of Arabic
Favourite Yoga Pose: Adho Mukha Vrksasan - Handstand
Next Big Challenge: Complete my advanced teacher training
Growing up in South Africa, I always loved being active. I trained in ballet for seven years and regularly took part in sports such as swimming, long distance running and athletics.
It was only during a personal training course in Spain however, that I became hooked on learning about the impact fitness has on the body and people’s lives. The course inspired me to create Free Hot And Happy – a company dedicated to inspiring women to be their best, with new workouts, nutrition advice and fitness inspiration.
I now specialise in working with female clients in London, helping them to flourish into confident, healthy, happy women. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I do.
Power song: Katy Perry - Roar
Personal Best: Bath half marathon in 1 hour 45 minutes
Fav yoga pose: Triangle pose
Next big challenge: Do 10 unassisted pull ups and run a Free Hot and Happy retreat this summer
