Yoga Pose of the Week (Week 13)
Some say this is the easiest of the yoga poses, others disagree. At a glance this pose looks like you are just talking a nap! However, to truly feel the benefits of this pose, the breath needs to be relaxed, the muscles free from tension and the mind focused on the present moment. You can see why some people find this pose the most challenging! The perfect corpse pose can be achieved though. After a yoga class, your body, mind and breath are usually calm and tension free so corpse pose seems to come quite naturally. Then it really does feel like the best nap ever!
