Squad training at Bath University

I spent all last week at Bath Uni training with the GB trampoline squad. The focus for the week was strength and conditioning, so we were on overload for the whole of the week. Our S & C coach lead us through circuits which worked on each area- ankle, calf, hip and glute, core, general conditioning and floor jumps. We would start at 9:30 and finish around 5:30 and we trained hard in that time minus a 30-40 min lunch break. On top of the S & C, we did our usual trampoline sessions.I worked so hard!! Every muscle in my body was tired by the end of the week! I did enjoy it though!! No matter how tired your muscles are, you do feel so satisfied and motivated after hard sessions. It's like dragging yourself out of bed to go for a run when you want that extra half hour in bed, and coming back feeling totally refreshed, fit and ready to go again! I felt really pleased with how my week went and have some technical evidence which show big improvements in my height and strength!

O and when I got home, my boyfriend had got a little beagle puppy! He's wanted a beagle for a long time now and he finally has one! He's called him Monty- after the cricketer Monty Panesar! A little bit sad perhaps- but he's happy!!! He was thinking of calling hime Jeremy Beagle haha! So now he is having fun toilet training him. Aww he is so cute and chilled out! 

Anyway my jumper jacket of the month would be the Sweaty Betty Escape jacket. It is amazing. It's warm, comfy and looks so stylish. I have had so many comments when I have worn it. I have to say though, if you are looking for a ski jacket- definitely try the Raspberry Norton Ski Jacket. I recently tried it on in one of the stores and it is so lovely. You could wear it everywhere- and it would definitely keep you warm in this weather!! Anyway here is the link for the Escape jacket....
