All you need to do is choose a word, phrase of sound which inspires you Mantras
Once again this year's Mind Body Soul Show in Olympia was a great weekend, packed full of ideas to enhance wellbeing and health. My Face Yoga classes went really well with lots of lovely feedback. I have put some pictures below for you to take a look at.

The part of the show which really inspired me was the mantras. I noticed many books, CD's and presentations all on the importance of mantras. A mantra is a sound, syllable, word or group of words that are considered capable of creating transformation (Wikipedia). I like to repeat Mantras after my yoga practice or if I feel in need of a quick energy boost or a sense of calm. By telling yourself you feel a certain way, your body and mind will respond very quickly to this.

All you need to do is choose a word, phrase of sound which inspires you and repeat it silently to yourself (or out loud if you are alone) up to three times. Here are some of my favourites:

"I am calm, relaxed and centred"
"I feel energised and happy"
"I breathe in calm and out stress".
