Diary of a Workout Wardrobe: My Summer in Sweaty Betty

Contributing Editor to British Vogue Calgary Avansino tells us how she spends the summer in Sweaty Betty. From yoga in sunny Santa Barbara, California to hiking in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, her kit's got her covered.

The first leg of my wonderfully active and fun-filled travels around America's west coast - long live summer holidays!
When I'm in Santa Barbara I always try to get up early and do some yoga outside before the day gets busy. It's usually overcast until 10am - perfect for a half hour of yoga postures before the sun gets hot. I've never been one for loose fitting yoga pants - I always wear tight running leggings and a flexible lightweight top. Namaste!

My Galaxy Capris made it all the way to Teton peak in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The weather is always unpredictable at high altitudes so I brought along a cropped sweatshirt too which I definitely needed at the top.
I love nothing more than heading out for a long hike in the mountains of California's coast.  This picture was taken on the first mile of a 5 mile hike above Ojai, California. I usually wear these shorts running but they are perfect for hiking because they keep you super cool on long walks and have  under-leggings for easy movement.
Rincon Beach is surfer's paradise and my two little girls had the best time trying their luck with boogie boards. This is me just before suiting up in my wetsuit - l seem to wear Sweaty Betty's bright neon sports bras under normal clothes as often as running kit.
